17 resorts in France, 4 of them written in full. The register holds 13 in Mediterranean Private, 3 in Country, Mountain, Lake & Desert Retreat, 1 in Urban Sanctuary.

17 records from the Côte d'Azur, the Saint-Tropez peninsula, Corsica and the mainland south. The country of small holdings held tightly, and of one instructive removal.

Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc holds about nine hectares at the tip of Cap d'Antibes and has no beach at all: a park of Aleppo pine running to a rock shore, cabanas cut into it and a seawater pool in the cliff. Land at the end of a peninsula has neighbours on one side only, which is why nine hectares here buy an enclosure that nine hectares mid-coast would not.

La Réserve keeps two properties in this country and they answer the register's question in opposite directions. Ramatuelle holds a hillside in the garrigue above Pampelonne and deliberately no shoreline at all. Beaulieu held a building on the boulevard du Maréchal Leclerc with a seawater pool at the sea wall, and the House removed it from this collection and retired its code. Same owner, same name, one estate and one address.

Casadelmar marks the bottom of the register's scale: two or three hectares of terraced Corsican garden running from the Palombaggia road to a shore of its own. It is unambiguously an estate, and the reason is that nothing crosses the drop between the road and the water.
